Chela creative area
Jacob
He moves his limbs in agitated motion,
looking up entreatingly.
Speech could not ask more clearly.
His red pursed button mouth
begins to quiver.
Tears film his deep blue eyes,
tremble on his lids.
Sobs shake his small frame,
as he mourns his lonely isolation.
His mother comes to comfort,
stroking smooth plum cheek,
lifting to exhilarating heights.
Amid his tears he begins to laugh.
Rainbows shine on his eyelashes.
A rainbow baby.
